Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Dean Russell from Vancouver British Columbia envisioned a company that could provide comprehensive services to property owners in need of damage repair. Starting in a small office with one truck and a small amount of drying equipment, Cromwell Restoration was born. Cromwell expanded its operations to 6 offices throughout British Columbia. In 1995, offices were opened in Calgary and Winnipeg. In 2000, Cromwell acquired the market leader in Edmonton and solidified its presence in Alberta.

Cromwell Joins Belfor


In 2001, Cromwell was acquired by BELFOR International. BELFOR is one of the largest property damage repair companies in the world. BELFOR had also acquired Inrecon LLC in the United States. The union of Cromwell, BELFOR and Inrecon created the largest full service damage repair company in North America. We are proud members of a worldwide network of restoration professionals.
